First Off

My friend Andrew Reeves at schizmatic says that this is the best article to come out of Salon.com. I disagree. This fluff is complete excrement that writes off an entire genre by picking the easy targets... like making fun of Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park is tough, or something. Try coming up with reasons why Rage Against the Machine is trash, not just something you don't like. Or even the Deftones. Or just keep writing bullshit that'll get published because someone out there thinks maybe you're being 'brave.'

On the other hand, this is a Salon.com article worth reading.
