Texas has spaceshuttles, dadgummit. And last I checked, DisneyWorld was points against. And SoBe is just a PepsiCo company. And the only supermodels I ever saw on beaches in Florida were modeling Depends undergarments.

Texas has Austin, Galveston, and South Padre beaches where the women are both young and gorgeous; the best Mexican food in the entire country; we had Stevie Ray Vaughn; we've had Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, and NBA Championship teams; Texas is HUGE, g*dd@mmit!; Texas has 5 (count 'em, FIVE) Six Flags parks (with Bugs and Batman, which whoops Mickey and friends here to sunday), and Sea World; Ozzy Osbourne pissed on a state monument; we've had the country's (if not the world's) largest rock concert; we schooled Rick Linklater, Robert Rodriguez, and John f-in' Woo; we had a war fought over us; we have real, live cowboys AND indians; we have Texas Instruments and Dell.

I'll grant that Texas sucks, but it doesn't suck nearly as bad as Florida, or any number of other states.
