First Off

No really, I think I need one.
As you can see... I haven't been posting on a regular basis in a long while... and I'm not quite sure why. I need a reason to write, to flex those muscles that go unused for too long when I don't write. So, maybe I'll actually get around to writing more frequently or something.
Or maybe I won't.

Rammstein
I wish I could explain my bizarre fascination with this band. I don't think I can, but I will try.
I first saw Rammstein open for KMFDM Dec 5th, 199X. It was before the Du Hast single, and they put on a great show. They came personally recommended by KMFDM, so I figured I'd check them out. When I got the disc Herzelied, I was very surprised. I immediately wanted to lump them in with all the other industrial music I listened to, but they weren't quite there... They were a little more, I don't know, gothy, progressive, and er... German than most of the stuff I was listening to at the time. Quite refreshing.

And uh, I'm done talking about Rammstein. I suppose I could talk about their wild stage shows or something, but I really don't have a whole lot to say on the subject that hasn't been said before... So, until next time,
